Programme for 2024 - 25 Visitors and new members are always welcome. There is a small fee for visitors which includes refreshments. We meet at 7.15 pm for a 7.30pm start on the first Wednesday of the month at Whitegate Recreation Room (village hall) CW8 2BL.

Craft Group - various projects learn to crochet, patchwork & quilting, making crafts to sell for funds Garden Group - visit members' and public gardens, seed & plant swops Book clubs - discussion with tea & cakes Walking Group - walks of around two hours in the local area Bowling Team Darts Team Cheshire Show Entry Team Village Show Organisational Team Whitegate Warblers - informal singing together for fun (NB. not taking place at present) Dinner Ladies - meals out with WI friends Cinema & Theatre trips Trips to local places of interest (eg. mushroom walk at Arley Hall with Dave from Fungal Punk, Abbeywood Gardens, Macclesfield Silk Museum, Capesthorne Hall, outdoor theatre in the walled gardens at Arley Hall)
Courses and activities run by the Cheshire Federation of Women's Institutes (CFWI) and the National Federation of Women's Institutes (NFWI) are also available to members. Plus on-line courses with the WI Learning Hub
